Scientific Name: Begonia Maculata "Silver Spot"
Common Name: Cane Begonia, Polka Dot Begonia
Begonias are beloved houseplants, primarily famous for their incredibly unique foliage variations and variegations, from polka dots to fuzzy (or spiky!) leaves. Begonias tend to be slightly high-maintenance, and are generally considered to be a little more advanced of a houseplant, but don't let that stop you from trying!
Get ready to be dazzled by the stunning sight of our cane begonia. With its elegant wing-shaped leaves, deep green hue, and sparkling silver spots, this plant is as cool and beautiful as can be. But wait, there's more! The back of its foliage boasts a gorgeous deep-berry shade, making this begonia a showstopper from every angle. During the summer and fall, these beauties will burst with charming pink clusters of blooms!
Basic Needs: Bright, indirect light. Does not like to be soaking wet, but also cannot handle being dry for extended periods of time. We recommend small, but frequent waterings. PRO TIP: to grow a more evenly bushy begonia, rotate your pot every week so a different side is exposed to light-- this will encourage more even growth from all sides!
***Due to the unique nature of plants, the one we carefully choose for you won't look exactly like the photos. but it will be just as beautiful!
