Scientific Name: Begonia Chayo
Common Name: Leaf Begonia, King Begonia
Begonias are beloved houseplants, primarily famous for their incredibly unique foliage variations, and variegations, from polka dots to fuzzy (or spiky!) leaves. Begonias tend to be slightly high-maintenance, and are generally considered to be a little more advanced of a houseplant, but don't let that stop you from trying!
Begonia Chayo is a one-of-a-kind houseplant that will leave you mesmerized. Its gorgeous foliage features silvery-pink leaves accented by deep purple veins. This plant shimmers with iridescence and high contrast, making Chayo a truly enchanting and stunning addition to any space!
Basic Needs: Bright, indirect light. Does not like to be soaking wet, but also cannot handle being dry for extended periods of time. We recommend small, but frequent waterings. PRO TIP: to grow a more evenly bushy begonia, rotate your pot every week so a different side is exposed to light-- this will encourage more even growth from all sides!
