Begonia, Tiger Paws
Scientific Name: Begonia bowerae
Common Name: Tiger Paws Begonia, Eyelash Begonia
Begonias are beloved houseplants, primarily famous for their incredibly unique foliage variations, and variegations, from polka dots to fuzzy (or spiky!) leaves. Begonias tend to be slightly high-maintenance, and are generally considered to be a little more advanced of a houseplant, but don't let that stop you from trying!
Native to Mexico, the Tiger Paws Begonia has rounded, serrated green leaves with light green variegations and fuzzy little hairs on the leaves that give it one of its common names - Eyelash Begonia.
Basic Needs: Bright, indirect light. Does not like to be soaking wet, but also cannot handle being dry for extended periods of time. We recommend small, but frequent waterings.
***Due to the unique nature of plants, the one we carefully choose for you won't look exactly like the photos. but it will be just as beautiful!
