Venus Flytrap
Scientific Name: Dionaea muscipula
Common Name: Venus Flytrap
The classic Venus Flytrap plant is a popular carnivorous houseplant that loves to snack on unsuspecting bugs. The leaves end in mean-looking clamshells with sticky insides that catch and immobilize their prey, and then close up while they digest their meal.
Pot Size: 3"
Basic Care: Venus Flytraps prefer humidity, and need distilled water. We bottom water our carnivorous plant selection with distilled water. For soil, you can use a mixture of peat moss and perlite. You can also use a standard carnivorous plant soil mix, or live sphagnum moss.
***Because all plants are unique, the one we carefully select for you may differ slightly from the photo!
