Monstera Deliciosa

Common Name: Monstera
Monsteras are a widely loved and wildly popular houseplant around the world for good reason. These beautiful plants are easy to care for and mature plants can have MASSIVE leaves.
The Monstera deliciosa is often referred to as just "Monstera" and is a fan favorite for its unique fenestrations. As the plant matures, holes appear in the older leaves and then split. In nature this plant grows up trees under thick canopies, and the holes allow light to hit the lower leaves. This is why a young monstera will not have nearly the same fenestration as an older specimen.
