Begonia, Polka Dot
Scientific Name: Begonia maculata
Common Name: Polka Dot Begonia, Angel Wing Begonia
Begonias are beloved houseplants, primarily famous for their incredibly unique foliage variations, and variegations, from polka dots to fuzzy (or spiky!) leaves. Begonias tend to be slightly high-maintenance, and are generally considered to be a little more advanced of a houseplant, but don't let that stop you from trying!
Take your plant parenting to the next level with a Polka Dot Begonia! This houseplant is a bit of a challenge, but the payoff is worth it. Its long, dark green leaves are dotted with white spots and crimson undersides, giving it a unique and playful appearance. It's the perfect addition to any plant collection for those who aren't afraid of a little extra love and attention!
Basic Needs: Bright, indirect light. Does not like to be soaking wet, but also cannot handle being dry for extended periods of time. We recommend small, but frequent waterings.
***Due to the unique nature of plants, the one we carefully choose for you won't look exactly like the photos. but it will be just as beautiful!
