Common Name: Benjamin Fig, Weeping Fig, Benjamina Weeping Fig
The El Dorado Benjamin Fig has small green leaves with beautiful creamy variegations that change from leaf to leaf. Benjamin Figs are native to Southern Asia and Australia, and mature trees in the wild can get up to 8 feet tall, and up to 6 feet when cultivated indoors. The enterprising bonsai enthusiast can also train these plants as bonsais.
Basic Care Info: The El Dorado Benjamin Fig needs medium to bright indirect light, and can tolerate lower light conditions. However, these do not like change, and if you move them, they may drop old leaves and produce new ones that are used to the new location. Well draining soil, water when top 2+ inches are dry, do not overwater.
