Zebra Plant, White Wash
Scientific Name: Aphelandra squarrosa
Common Name: Zebra Plant, White Wash
The White Wash cultivar of the Zebra Plant is an offspring of the Snow White cultivar and has light green foliage that appears to have a white screen over the leaves. Originating from Brazil, the Zebra Plant is a go-to indoor plant, though it may require some extra TLC as it tends to be a bit of a diva. May the odds be ever in your favor!
Pot Size: 4”, 6"
Basic Care Notes: The Zebra Plant needs partial shade and cannot tolerate direct sunlight. It is used to the floor of a rainforest and needs humidity to thrive as well. Repot into a pot with good drainage, and well-draining soil. The Zebra Plant prefers consistently moist soil (do not let the soil completely dry out), but you must also be careful not to overwater as that can cause root rot.
***Due to the unique nature of plants, the one we carefully choose for you won't look exactly like the photos (and it may or may not be actively blooming). but it will be just as beautiful!
